We are dedicated to helping motivated individuals set realistic fitness/strength training goals, and setting forth to achieving them.
Our mission-
At Shae Strength, we have tried an “out of the box” approach to help athletes using a combination of 1 on 1 training when feasible, online programming, and video analysis to help our clients achieve their goals.
We are not affiliated with any gym, allowing the client to choose the gym that best serves their need. We do tailor our programming to accommodate the equipment each gym may have.
We prefer to start each session with an introductory 1 on 1 visit with client and coach, if feasible. This visit is designed for the client and coach to get to know each other, to establish goals, and start formulating a plan for client to achieve those goals. Additionally, coaching is provided to teach the client “our” way of lifting , with the focus on safety, efficiency, and client centered movements. At the end of this session, both the client and coach are confident that the client will be able to replicate the exercises when they go to their gym to perform.
Our process-
1 on 1 coaching-
All 1 on 1 coaching will take place in the Shae Strength garage gym. The Shae Strength garage gym is equipped with a competition bench, Texas Squat Bar, Ohio Power Bar, and Texas Deadlift Bar for the specific lifts, along with calibrated kilo plates.
Programming-
Programming is provided through an online app. Clients can download the app to their phone or tablet to get their programming.
Video Analysis-
Video analysis is done through a private Facebook group for Shae Strength Lifters only. Clients will be asked to film there main and secondary sets to start out, and post in the Shae Strength Lifters group. The coach will critique the videos, typically within a day of posting, to give coaching advice regarding the lifts. Additionally, the clients have the opportunity to learn from the other posts in the group and the coaching advice associated with them.
